My ex husband and I went through a long 1 & 1/2 year DCF case which closed with mother having custody and the father having 1-2 hours weekly visitation. Due to him having a long history of abuse and substance abuse as well as being diagnosed a paranoid schizophrenic with narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies back in 2014 or 2015 when he lost custody of his children with his first ex wife and his girlfriend being statutorily prohibited from having minors in her care due to drug possession charges. 7/30/2026 we went to court for our dissolution of marriage and final hearing, he had an attorney and I did not. I tried for over a year to find an attorney but no one would help me without an outrageous amount of money or there was a conflict of interest. Needless to say he was granted every other weekend Friday to Monday, alternating holidays and summer break week on week off. My children have been in his home for only 2 weekends, the first was 9/4/26 and the second 9/18/26. He has been verbally, emotionally, mentally abusive toward our oldest daughter who is 15 in front of our toddlers. I need serious help and someone willing to fight for my children.
