North Penn Legal Services - Williamsport Office Description

Description:

NPLS Provides free civil legal services to low income families in Northeast Pennsylvania. We determine your eligibility based on: the specifics of your case or legal needs, your household income, and where you live (not all services are available in all counties).

        Domestic Violence & Protection from Abuse

        Social Security Disability (SSI & SSD) Benefits

Eligibility Requirements

NPLS offers representation to low income families who need legal help.

In order to qualify for free legal services, your household income must meet requirements based on Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
NPLS may take into account some expenses (for example, employment-related expenses, child support paid out, and unusually high medical expenses) for households above these guidelines. Available services may vary by county. There may be income exceptions based on your legal problem.
