As a civil legal aid program, assures fairness for all in the justice system, regardless of your financial status.
Through our staff attorneys and hundreds of volunteers, gives free legal help to low-income and elderly clients in matters relating to their physical safety, access to food and shelter, and other legal needs.
Mission Statement: LASO’s mission is to achieve justice for the low-income communities of Oregon by providing a full range of the highest quality civil legal services.

I am looking for help with my car being hit a totaled by the garbage truck while it was parked in front of where i live going through garbage services insurance they were willing to pay for the $ 8,500. damages, but the shops wont repair it. I am DEVESTATED i just paid it off last year, I am still paying on new tires and battery for it. I dont want older car or high mileage with accidents or having to put money into a car for repairs. They were only made for 5 years so hard to find, and a hybrid so excellent gas mileage. I want enough money to replace the car, not a low ball offer!!!!! I also want to take the driver to small claims court for NEGLEGENCE and whatever other offences i can use, my car was parked in the same spot 3 years, im not the only car parked on the street, this is rediculous, i am so angry and i am NOT going to settle for anything less than what im owed, iI dd nothing wrong and i dont want to TOTAL my car, cause of his ignorance, i want to follow him to car lot and he can trade off his new truck for a peice of shit and give my the money!!!!! He needs to be held responsible "hes SORRY' prove it, i cant find a car i like around here only other states, so will have to pay transport fees to, i shouldnt have to spend hours and days looking for car, i dont want another car!!!! ReplyNeed to get co guardianship of my dd adult daughter in program in SD where i am from her dad lives in NC and is okay with me having co guardianship. Do I have to go to SD to do that?
