Hi. How are you? Kelly and Al said I should get your advice or a referral on a legal situation. I was wrongfully terminated. I was instructed by a couple supervisors at Harford County Detention Center that based on my situation, I should sue Wellpath and the jail. This has to do with a suicide attempt and the jail was looking for someone to take the blame because the jail is in a lawsuit(s). In my situation, I have a witness to cooperate my story because she was right behind me when the pt tried to tie her extensions around her neck. This pt was on a mental health hold. Standard practice is to either remove extensions or pull them out prior to moving from booking. And to top it off, our Methadone team was instructed that this pt was a high risk for suicide. I don’t recall this pt being placed on Suicide watch.
