I’m in dispute with the management in my mobile home park, I own my 3bd mobile home, I’m wanting to bring in a roommate. And for what I see on my lease there is nothing to prevent me from doing so. I have asked several times for clarification on where in my lease says I can not do that. Management has not shown me any clarification. This is the Emails I have sent them.
I am following up regarding my previous question.
I reviewed my lease carefully and I still do not see any section that states I am prohibited from adding an occupant while remaining the primary resident and remaining fully responsible for the lease.
I understand the lease prohibits subletting or assigning the lease, which I am not proposing to do. I would continue living in the home and remain solely responsible for rent and compliance with park rules.
I would appreciate clarification on this matter, as I would like to get this resolved so I can move forward in finding a roommate to help with expenses.
Could you please identify the specific lease section or rule that states an additional occupant is not permitted under these circumstances?
Thank you.

Hello, Lorinda
I am following up regarding the email I sent on May 26, 2026 concerning clarification of the lease terms related to adding an additional occupant while remaining the primary resident and fully responsible for the lease.
I would appreciate a response by end of business Thursday, June 4, 2026, as I will be out of town visiting my grandson until then. This will allow me to determine how to move forward. If I do not receive clarification by that time, I will proceed with beginning my search for a roommate based on my current understanding of the lease terms.
As stated previously, I am not proposing to sublet or assign the lease. I would continue residing in the home and remain fully responsible for rent and compliance with all park rules.
If management believes an additional occupant is not permitted under these circumstances, please identify the specific lease section or written policy that applies.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Gina McGahey
I am currently separated from my abusive husband. There are no police reports. the cops were called a few times, but I never got any case numbers and there are no charges. I want to file for either a legal separation or a divorce. I have 3 kids. 2 are his. I can't afford an attorney. The kids and I still live in the house we own. Everything is in his name. My husband has threatened to take everything. I have no family support in town. I have stayed at the DV shelter before. KAAP has helped me a little bit in the past.
