Mission Statement: Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing will provide free legal and supportive services to improve housing stability for lower income renters while advocating for the rights of all renters until everyone in Chicago has a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home.

Reviews
I have been unlawfully evicted with no statutory notice and no service. I would like to file a suit. I also argued my case Pro Se, but my motion to quash, vacate, restore possession and dismissed was denied after the process server testified he served me after his Affidavit said unknown occupant of which he left papers outside the door. The denial just happened today. I would also like help with correcting this through appeal or other. The just she presiding over the hearings to put it kindly did not seem impartial at all.
